  These cupcakes were a huge dissapointment. They icing looked stiff and the cupcakes slightly over baked but they were still beautiful. I bought an assortment and the dissappointment was greater with each one. I probably finished not an entire cupcake but a bite from each one hoping the next would be good. The icing is stiff and sugary, not soft sweet and buttery. The cupcakes are over done leaving them dry and crumbly. What "all the rave" is about with this place is confusing--I guess the people who love it either don't care or have never actually had a good cupcake. This place is trendy--but it's not good.

  I bought 4 cupcakes this past week and they were a huge disappointment, I love all things sweet but unfortunately the cupcakes were incredibly dry, they frosting was so grainy and overly sweet, not to mentione they were very small, the cupcake barely made it to the edge of the wrapper and the rest was all icing.
  We Chose 4 flavors, The vanilla cupcake with vanilla frosting tasted like corn bread, the chocolate frosting on the chocolate cupcake was so grainy, the s'more was the worst! As soon as I bite into it just crumbled, I also had a hard blob of chocolate in the middle and the frosting smelled like raw eggs! The last one was supposed to be banana but did not taste like banana at all.
  I honestly don't think $12 for 4 cupcakes is a lot of money but for the size and taste and texture of these...huge waste of money. There is simply no way these cupcakes were fresh, no way!
